The Wonderful Life of William Shakespeare
Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and was baptisted there on April 26, the same year and recieved a wonderful education at Stratford Free Grammer school, which can be compared to todays Eton in London. He passed away on April 23, 1616 He was exposed to some theater as a child and this could have been what inspired him to become a play write later in life. He is considered one of the best play writes because of the vast number of plays he wrote, (including The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, Othello, and King Lear) and how famous his plays have stayed in the centuries since his death in 1616. He was established in theater by his late twenties and in time he became part-owner of the Globe Theater. He was not only a play write but an actor for a time before his retirement from the stage in 1613. His poetry was published before his plays and made people more interested when his plays were published years later

Juliet fakes her own death because she does not want to marry Paris the man her parents want her to marry. She sends word to Romeo to come and get her but the messenger is cut of. Romeo gets the wrong information rides to Verona at ones to see if what he has heard is true when he gets to the grave of Juliet he sees her body and kills himself because he thinks his love is gone. when Juliet wakes up she sees him dead and kills her self as well.
Connection
The Capulets and the Montagues, the two feuding families in Romeo and Juliet, are like the savages and the Brave new world. They want to keep to them selves but when they interact with eachother it goes badly for both sides.

Othello
Othello is about a person name Iago who is paid money by Roderigo to spy on Othello because Iago wants Othello's girlfriend Desdemona. Othello marries Desdemona without permission from her father who comes to look for Othello. He is looking for Othello because Iago had to regain Roderigo's trust and told Desdemona's father, Brabantio, that Othello was abusing her. He then told Othello that Roderigo had told Brabantio this and that he should hide. Iago is playing both sides of the fence. Othello and Desdemona explain to Brabantio that they have fallen in love. Iago gets everybody to do what he wants by telling them that they should do a certain thing for a made up reason that is keeping that person from getting or achieving something. Iago gets Roderigo to hurt Cassio by telling him he is in the way to getting to Desdemona but really Iago has underlying jealousy issues with Cassio and wants him killed. Iago sets Cassio up with Desdemona to talk about being repromoted but he makes it look asthough they are having an affair. He also has her hankerchief that Othello gave to her and puts it near Cassio's house to make it really look like they were being unfaithful. Iago has Roderigo kill Cassio and then Iago wounds Roderigo for killing his "friend." Othello kills Desdemona for being unfaithful but then he finds out that Desdemona was set up. He places himself on top of Desdemona and kills himself.
Connection
In my opinion, Brabantio is like John. They both respect and care for women. They don't want to see the woman that they care about get hurt. Brabantio does this by making sure that Othello is worthy of his daughter. John does this by not having sex with Lenina and does not treat her like a piece of meat. Roderigo is like anybody in BNW on Soma and has been conditioned. He does what he is told and will believe anything even if it means killing somebody. Roderigo tries to kill Cassio because he will do whatever Iago says. The people in BNW are oblivious to bad things and will do anything when they are on Soma.

The Tempest
The tempest was one of Shakespeare's romance plays. It's a combination of tragedy and romantic comedy. The themes of the play are freedom, friendship, and forgiveness. In Shakespeare’s The Tempest Prospero and Miranda, father and daughter, are exiled to an island where a man named Caliban tries to civilize them. Caliban is introduced to alcohol and becomes a slave to it.
Connections: The play The Tempest by William Shakespeare has many parallels to The Brave New World. For one the island in The Tempest is similar to the Brave New Word because in both places people are forced to be civilized. Alcohol in The Tempest is like soma in the Brave New World; it controls people. The citizens in The Brave New World are dependant on soma while Prospero becomes dependant on alcohol in The Tempest.

King Lear
King Lear must divide his kingdom among his three daughters, before he does so he asks each of his daughters to state how much they love him. His youngest daughter Cordelia, however, refuses to, and King Lear disinherits her. Along with Cordelia the king also exiles his adviser Kent for supporting Cordelia. King Lear’s other daughters, Regan and Goneril; mistreat him which eventually leads to him losing his mind. When Cordelia returns to Britain her father, King Lear regains his sanity. Regan and Goneril raise an army and capture the king and Cordelia, putting Cordelia to death. Goneril poisons her sister over a man they both loved and afterward commits suicide. King Lear dies of grief over his daughter Cordelia

Conection
The conection between King Lear and Brave New World is that there is a lot of acting on immediate wants or need just like people in Brave New World
